Refund policy

 

1. Your Right to Cancel 

As a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days.

Cancellation period

The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day you receive the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. an email to sales@goldsmithsseeds.com) before the cancellation period expires.

 

2. Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel your order within the 14-day cancellation period:

  • We will refund all payments received, including the cost of standard delivery
  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of:

- receiving the returned goods, or

- receiving evidence that the goods have been sent back (whichever is earlier)

  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

 

3. Extended Returns Policy (30 Days)

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 30 day returns policy from the date of purchase.

To qualify for a refund under this extended policy, the following conditions must be met:

  • Product must be unopened and in its original packaging
  • You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless they are faulty or incorrect

All returns will be inspected. If these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

 

4. Exemptions from the Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Bespoke or custom-made seed mixtures

These items are non-returnable, unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.

 

5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied you are entitled to a full refund, replacement, or repair, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

In these cases:

  • We will cover reasonable return postage costs
  • Please contact us as soon as possible at sales@goldsmithsseeds.com 

 

6. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer for change-of-mind returns
  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable, except where required by law
  • Goods must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit
